USG 5601T is a 5.6 maturity top of the line conventional variety. This variety is a product of The University of Tennessee breeding program. USG 5601T consistently outyields Hutcheson by 4+ bushels in performance tests. Resistance to Stem Canker, Soybean Mosaic Virus, and moderate resistance to Root Knot Nematode are three quality characteristics. USDA has designated USG 5601T as it's check variety for all USDA testing.
